From bbraun at synack.net Wed Feb 19 16:12:33 2003 From: bbraun at synack.net (Rob Braun) Date: Thu Oct 6 10:34:50 2005 Subject: [xinetd] New xinetd mailing list Message-ID: <20030219161233.C22506@lh.synack.net> Hello, I have switched the xinetd mailing list over to mailman, and everyone that was subscribed several hours ago should still be subscribed and getting this message. If you don't get this message, let me know. =) The new mailing list will default to being xinetd@xinetd.org, rather than xinetd@synack.net. Both will continue to work, it just seemed more appropriate for the xinetd mailing list to live with it's own domain. You can change the standard mailman mailing list options at http://www.xinetd.org/mailman. If you click on the xinetd mailing list, and edit your options, you will have the opportunity to have your mailman password sent to you. "I forgot my password", even though you didn't. Also, as promised, xinetd has a cvs repository. The repository is available via anonymous pserver access. If you set your CVSROOT to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.xinetd.org:/cvs/xinetd You should be able to login with no password (blank password, as in ""). Slightly more information on using the repository is available on the xinetd web site: http://www.xinetd.org Along with the repository, we get a cvs commit mailing list. This list is available from the mailman link mentioned above. If you want on this mailing list, please subscribe yourself. I have not auto-added anyone to this list. And wait! There's more! CVSWeb access to the repository is available through: http://www.xinetd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi There is a link to this on the main xinetd page. If there are any questions or problems, please let me know. I'm not aware of any harm. I'd only think they've outlived themselves now that public CVS is in the works. -- Matthias Andree From ma+xi at dt.e-technik.uni-dortmund.de Wed Feb 19 16:46:19 2003 From: ma+xi at dt.e-technik.uni-dortmund.de (Matthias Andree) Date: Thu Oct 6 10:34:50 2005 Subject: [xinetd] New xinetd mailing list In-Reply-To: <20030219161233.C22506@lh.synack.net> (Rob Braun's message of "Wed, 19 Feb 2003 16:12:33 -0800") References: <20030219161233.C22506@lh.synack.net> Message-ID: Rob Braun writes: > And wait! Personally, I'd prefer ViewCVS (requires python and suggests enscript), I find it more comfortable to use. ViewCVS is hosted at and used by SourceForge. BTW, may I ask you to unblock port 2401 (cvs) on cvs.xinetd.org?
